Breathing Valves

Pressure-Vacuum Relief Valves (also known as breather valves) are designed according ISO 28300 and API 2000 for installation on low pressure storage tanks to ensure safe filling and emptying operations , and to compensate for any expansion or contraction of vapors above the liquid level due to changes in ambient temperatures .
Our technical department is available to carry out valve sizing according to international standards like "API 2000" and "ISO 28300 ".
Our valves are designed even according to following European Standards that are related to "Atex" directive :
o EN1127-1 : Explosive atmospheres - Explosion prevention and methodology
o ISO 80079-36 and 80079-37 : Non-electrical equipments for explosive atmospheres

Flame Arresters

According to definition given in the ISO 16852:2016 flame arresters are "safety devices fitted to openings of enclosures or to pipe work, and are intended to allow flow but prevent flame transmission”.
EN ISO 16852:2016 is a harmonized rule correlated to “ATEX” Directive that was adopted in the European Community in the year 2003.
According to ATEX Directive, flame arresters are defined “Protective systems” and as consequence they can be put onto the market by manufacturer after executing “Conformity Assessment Procedures of equipment”:
Costruzioni Meccaniche Lupi S.r.l. executed the following “Conformity Assessment Procedures” according to ATEX Directive 94/9/CE – ATEX, article 8, paragraph 1, letter a, (article 13, paragraph 1, letter a of the in force ATEX Directive 2014/34/UE):
EU-Type Examination Procedure according to Annex III: flame arresters must be tested and approved by a Notified Body who will issue an “EU-Type certificate” for the tested prototype.

Emergency Valves

Emergency vents are designed according ISO 28300 and API 2000 for installation on low pressure storage tanks to ensure adequate emergency venting due to fire exposure.
Our technical department is available to carry out valve sizing according to international standards like "API 2000" and "ISO 28300"

Gauge Hatches

PA wide choice of models allow to choose the gauge hatch suitable for any installation.
All our models have the padlock housing , are cheap and the aluminium execution is always ready at stock.
Models 144 , 145 , 146 , 147 are manufactured in aluminium in sizes 4" , 6" , 8".
Standard gasket is nitrile rubber .
This execution is coated by epoxidic paint.
Models 144 , 146 are gravity closing type with opening pressure of 44 mmWG.
Models 145 , 147 are pressure type suitable to max pressure of 500 mmWG.
ANSI 150 FF flanged connections are foreseen for models 144 and 145.
ANSI B2.1 (NPT) threaded connections are foreseen for models 146 and 14.
